Harrogate’s bid to keep the pressure on leaders Barrow was scuppered after their match at Barnet was abandoned at half-time following heavy rain.
The second-placed visitors got off to a flying start when George Thomson, fresh from scoring twice in last week’s 3-0 win over Yeovil, found the net in the opening minute.
The winger beat Barnet keeper Scott Loach with a well-placed low shot into the far corner.
But Barnet made it 1-1 through Paul McCallum’s 38th minute header, before the referee deemed the conditions unplayable.
